I'm Justa What I Am

I Assure You, We're Out There

Even though I've never been to a Rush show, doesn't mean that there are not female Rush fans out there. However, you better believe the next time Rush tours I'm getting tickets. I will not miss another opportunity.

Click here for a clip on VH1 Classic of a Rush interview talking about girls at their shows.

Rush Is A Band - The Website

If you don't already know about it, check out Rush Is A Band. It's full of Rush tid bits and snacks. They update fairly regularly.

Which is more than I can say for my lazy ass.

Who Are You?

Wow... people actually read this crap? Awesome. Hope I'm not boring anyone. Feel free to leave comments, questions or Rush trivia. I'm here to learn people. Learn about the trinity of awesomeness that is Rush. (insert Geddy Lee scream here)

Songs on this album I knew previous to this project:
Bastille Day

Bastille Day has always been my favorite Rush song. That was before this project. Now it's hard to say what my favorites are. When I first started listening to this album, I had a hard time getting into it. I understood why it didn't do so well on the music charts. But then I listened and listened and listened and am still listening and I'm starting to love and appreciate it more and more. This album isn't just an acquired taste, it's much more than that. An Acquired taste requires you to taste something over and over until you like it. This album is more of a dance of the 7 veils. It takes it's time revealing more sounds and solos and lyrics every time you hear it. I get that no one likes a 20 minute song. Hell, I myself was a little intimidated by it. When you are listening, you don't even notice 20 minutes go by.

I read that during the production of the album there was a printing error. The cover was to have a silvery steel look in color but the printers messed up and made it copper. Yeah.. you would think that after Rush Rush turned out pink they would get a new printer.

My favorite songs on this album:
Bastille Day (still)
Lakeside Park
III. Return of the Prince (from The Necromancer)
